SPECIFIC SCHEDULE
During the initial rollout the program will offer this sequence of courses. Spring 2008: EDRD 7600 Theory and Pedagogy in the Study of Reading, TSLE 7250 Applied Linguistics for the Bilingual/English as a Second Language Teacher, TSLE 7260 Cultural Issues for the Bilingual/English as a Second Language Teacher, EPRS 7900 Methods of Research in Education. Summer 2008: EDRD 7630 Reading in the Content Area, TSLE 7440 Methods and Materials for the Bilingual/English as a Second Language Teacher, EPSF 7120 Social and Cultural Foundations of Education IT 3210 (MAT co-requisite) Teaching, Learning, and Technology Integration. Fall 2008 AL 8240 General Linguistics, AL 8460 English Grammar for ESL/EFL Teachers, EDRD 7650 Individualized Assessment and Instruction for At-Risk Readers. Spring 2009: AL 8470 Sociolinguistics, EPY 7080 The Psychology of Learning and Learners, EDCI 7660 Practicum I.
